I remember the morning I got the call I didn’t want to believe it was true.
They said that you had died that night and that your life was thru.
But they were wrong I came to find that you were much alive,
maybe not in person but in spirit and in mind.
You'll live on in all our dreams and memories that we share.
As someone who was extremely kind and someone who really cared.
You’ve gone to heaven but your not alone Becky's at your side.
And one day when I get to heaven I hope its yinz I find.
But for now ill think of you and pray that you’re ok.
And hope that maybe I’ll meet up with you someday.
I know your looking down on us and saying not to cry.
That all the pain has gone away and now you’re feeling fine.
We will always miss you and wish that you were here,
but now your up in heaven and have nothing left to fear.
You’re an angel now and a perfect one its true,
and I hope your watching over me and everything I do.
You’re like a new butterfly you’ve gained wings and can soar.
And now you can go anywhere and do so much more.
No one will forget you and I'm saying this cause its true.
You were a friend to everyone, someone we could all talk to.
We were friends for quite awhile but our friendship will never die.
And someday we'll be reunited somewhere in the sky.
You looked so beautiful while lying there that day,
like an angel on its way home where everything’s ok.
This is the end of the poem, but not for you and me.
Although you may not be here, your spirit lives for all eternity.
